LANG Attribute | lang Property


Sets or retrieves the language to use.

Syntax

HTML<ELEMENT LANG = sLanguage... >
Scriptingobject.lang [ = sLanguage ]

Possible Values

sLanguageString that specifies or receives an ISO standard language abbreviation.

The property is read/write. The property has no default value.

Expressions can be used in place of the preceding value(s), as of Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5. For more information, see>About Dynamic Properties.

Remarks

The parser uses this property to determine how to display language-specific choices for quotations, numbers, and so on.
