VALIGN Attribute | vAlign Property


Sets or retrieves whether the caption appears at the top or bottom of the table.

Syntax

HTML<CAPTION VALIGN = sAlign... >
ScriptingCAPTION.vAlign [ = sAlign ]

Possible Values

sAlignString that specifies or receives one of the following values.
topDefault. Places the caption at the top of the table.
bottomPlaces the caption at the bottom of the table.

The property is read/write. The property has a default value of top.

Remarks

When this property is set dynamically, the value of the property will be updated, but there will be no visible change in the display.
