If you can't really be bothered finding the Glass Text tutorial, here's what you do:

Select text layer -> Blending Options:

Apply these settings:

Drop Shadow:


Inner Shadow:


Bevel and Emboss:


Satin:


Stroke:


These should make a font that views something like this:


To make it look darker and stand out more:


Simple duplicate the original layer.

I followed all steps however the result was slightly different. The effect was not exactly see-though transparency and I had to lower the opacity of the text layer. Did I do anything different? In your image the text seems transparent.

It may be the font you used, of the lightness/darkness of the background image. The image that I use was pretty light (light blue - blue), but apart from that everything should work out the way I have it. If you still get further problems, show me what you've got and I'll see what I can do.
