Learn how to make your own custom watermark

Corporate Logo Design

Create your own custom watermark you can add to your images any time with just a few clicks of your mouse.

First, click File>New and set your width and height to 250 x 125 px with a transparent background selected.

Now, choose the "Horizontal Type Tool", set your color to # 706E74 for this example and type the text you want to become your new watermark image.

Now press CTRL+T, right click on the text you just wrote and select rotate. Now move your mouse over the image and rotate it to how you want it.

Now choose Edit>Define Pattern and name it "watermark" for this tutorial.

When you want to watermark some of you work you simply have to open your file (Photoshop Images, Digital Photos, etc.), create a new layer or click Ctrl+J and choose the Edit>Fill option. In the contents boxes you need to select pattern and select the pattern you just created from the custom pattern selection box. The opacity of this layer was set to 50% to match the desired result we wanted for this example.

Watermarked Image

Now you can save your new watermarked image for use.
