Creating a TutorialWell as you might all know it's not easy to write or display a good and clean tutorial which is understandable for every viewer..
That's why I wrote this tutorial to help you guys and gals out with making a good tutorial
Lets Begin:The Layout of the tutorial should look something like this:
In the
Topic Title Name or description of tutorial
In the
Topic Description add either beginner - intermediate or advanced
* The Final Image
* Little of a pre-word...
* Steps 1,2,3 etc
* The Final Image once more displayed
* Maybe a variation on the orginal also described how you do that.
Easy enough hey ?
Things that you should do.- Divide your tutorial in steps and number each step so when a person is lost they could easily go back a step and try again (examples of numbering:
1) 1a 1. 1]-
Underline,
Bold or make text
Italic that matters like an action they should do
for example:
Filter - Sketch - Chrome- When showing a colour number make the text the same colour as shown.
for example
#FF6600- Try to explain the steps by using screenshots
( little tip, when using ALT+SCREENPRINT you will notice only the upper window you're using will appear in the screenshot this way you don't have to cut/crop your way around ).- Saving your screenshot at 50-60% quality will result in a good file size also good for people on dial up connections.
- After you made your tutorial go through it yourself there is always a chance you forgot something or mixed up the steps ( happens to the best..

).
- Adding little tips and shortcuts (keyboard shortcus like CTRL+F is redo Last Filter) to your tutorial.
- Also explaining what the next step will do to the picture and what will happen when changing some of the settings.
- Use correct spelling so it's easier to read for the viewer
-Embedded your images into the tutorial, but when the images are bigger than 500*600 put up a link or else it will "destroy" the layout of the tutorial
- When using a tool, display the little icon like this

Download the full icon set of the
toolbar hereThings you shouldn't do- At the end of your tutorial show off with a piece of your own work without describing how you made it, this way your tutorial won't look like a laugh... and the viewers already know you're good because you wrote that tutorial.:whistle:
- Save your screenshots at the biggest format possible this will scare away all dail-up users.
- Using bolds/underlines/italics for all sorts of things...when you used italic for and action try to stick with it for all actions... Or else people could get confused
*NOTE* Part 2 of this tutorial will be added soon also an update for this tutorial will be made asap.
